But what it does offer is a chance to be employed in a job that will only be more needed in the future. And to that end you are almost guaranteed job security. These days that is nothing to scoff at.
For the most part you will be employed by such institutions as hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, mental health institutions, and the like. And if you are willing to move to one of the larger cities like San Francisco, New York, or Los Angeles, you could command an even higher salary. A certified nurse assistant will often make the leap to an actual nursing program as well.
